On Being Creative . . . .Who Am I? Who Are You?

Who Are You?
Finding out who you are, or being validated that you are who you feel you are, goes a long way to building self esteem. There are many ways to discover who you are, including doing some that’s risky, some activity in which you can make mistakes and not get fired, or killed. What’s that old saying: “What does not kill you, you learn from.” A safer way is to take a simple “interest Inventory” assessment test, like the Myers-Briggs inventory. This an cost you a pile of money of you go to a human resources person or psychologist, but there is a test you can take on line that goes a long way to showing you an aspect of yourself you may not have seen before: This online personality inventory test, will take 20 minutes to complete. The questions may appear vague and ambiguous, that’s fine . . . just answer each question as you would prefer to be, not necessarily as you have to be because of your job, or expectations of others. Click the send button and your profile will come back to you immediately.

People with personality attributes that tend to make them more creative score in the middle of the Introspective and Extrovert, but higher on the Intuitive Feeling and Procrastination side of the graph below. But these people who share these attributes make up on 3% to 8% of the world’s population. If you score on the left side of the graph, but wish to be more creative, I urge you to embrace those traits on the right.
